Ingredients
2 cups of All-Purpose unbleached flour. Spooned & leveled
3 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 cup vegan margarine (very cold)
3/4 cup oat milk
2 tsp chopped fresh herbs (optional)
1/4 cup vegan margarine, melted

Method
In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Then, use a pastry blender to cut in the cold margarine until it resembles course crumbs.

Slowly add oat milk and combine with a fork. Being careful not to overmix the dough. Turn onto a lightly floured surface, and knead about 15 times. [If using herbs, incorporate at this step]

Roll or pat dough about 1 inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter or hand shape into biscuits. Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 450 for about 10 minutes or until golden. Brush with melted butter.
